224 Skin layers targeting by multi-lamellar liposomes; interest for drug delivery in atopic dermatitis

چکیده
In the frame of atopic dermatitis (AD), epidermis restricted delivery corticosteroids represents a promising strategy for drug efficiency improvement, blood transfer diminution and therefore side effects decrease. Multi-lamellar liposomes (MLLs) controlled size, charge elasticity are good candidates to reach such purposes. Their entrapment hydrophilic hydrophobic molecules ability plain MLLs remain in chosen skin layers has been demonstrated on Strat-M™ (an artificial model) dog skin. this study, we that after corticosteroid encapsulation still able control physico-chemical properties target epidermal layer model. Using Franz cell, 33 % free crossed 48 h against less than 2 encapsulated form. explants, showed corticosteroid-loaded did not alter architecture, confirmed decreased transdermal passage corticosteroids. Existing models reconstructed made polycarbonate filter thus lack dermis. To evaluate targeting MLLs, developed new model dead deepidermized After 48h exposure cytokines (Il-4, IL-13, IL-17), our an increased thickness, decrease filaggrin, loricrin staining, increase carbonic anhydrase staining which main characteristics AD. Thus, is suitable test reverse cytokines-induced alteration.

Evaluation of the Frequency of Food Allergens by Skin Prick Test in Children with Atopic Dermatitis
Background: The role of food allergy in atopic dermatitis (AD) is controversial. The aim of this study was to determine the frequency of food allergens in children with AD. Method: Fifty one atopic dermatitis children aged 6 months to 5 years entered our study. The severity of AD was determined by scoring index of AD (SCORAD). Skin prick test (SPT) was done using 15 allergens including the whit...
متن کاملSkin barrier in atopic dermatitis.
The skin represents the largest organ of the body and provides a vital interface between the body and the environment. Hereditary and acquired alterations of structural proteins and lipids of the stratum corneum and epidermal tight junctions leading to a diminished skin barrier function are major causative factors for a number of skin diseases, in particular atopic dermatitis (AD). This review ...

Research about the skin barrier and its properties has increased significantly since the 60s, with studies that indicated its resistance when isolated, as well as its particularities in relation to skin permeability. At the same time, description of Odland bodies helped to understand how stratum corneum stability is maintained. The âbrick and mortarâ model is the most accepted so far. In this a...

متن کاملAtopic dermatitis: skin-directed management.
Atopic dermatitis is a common inflammatory skin condition characterized by relapsing eczematous lesions in a typical distribution. It can be frustrating for pediatric patients, parents, and health care providers alike. The pediatrician will treat the majority of children with atopic dermatitis as many patients will not have access to a pediatric medical subspecialist, such as a pediatric dermat...
